Powder Flask….authentic?

The question is is this powder flask authentic? The dealer from whom I purchased it said it was authentic Civil War era. I know that these and other similar flasks have been reproduced by the thousands over the years. However, this flask seems to have several indicators that it is authentic. The attachment rings have been repaired at one time. The patina of the flask seems authentic as does the corrosion up near the neck. The 44 caliber ball was in the flask when I purchased it. The internal view shows remnants of powder….when I purchased it years ago I dumped a small amount of caked powder from the flask. The quality and workmanship of the brass parts is far above any repro I have seen.

What is the lenght of it? The spout is suspect IMHO and most pistol flask did not have the loops on the side. It has a Colt pattern on the sides. Are there any makers marks on the spots or on top?

Thanks for the feedback. Further research has shown the flask to be a Colt Dragoon flask reproduction. My reason for this conclusion is the fact that there is no Colt patent marking on the lower side banner or the ball lid.

I believe it's a reproduction too. I have one I bought a few years ago that looks very similar for my black powder revolvers.
