Does anyone know where to find a battle map for this skirmish? There is one on the placard attached, but even at a high resolution I can't make out all of the map details. Below is a link to information about the skirmish.

My wife had several Confederate ancestors in the 21st Battalion (Pound Gap Battalion). It later merged with the 27th Battalion to form the 64th Va. A number of them were captured at Cumberland Gap in Sept.1863 and died at Camp Douglass.

I have a picture that I took of this marker personally. Tried to blow up the map portion and it's still very hard to read...
I'm heading back down that way at the end of October, if the Lord's willing; if no one else has got anything better for ya by then, I will swing by and take new pics to get a high detailed view of the map.

Appreciate that. I contacted the Virginia Civil War Trails and they had some disheartening news but may be able to help. The designer is out currently but they will see if they can send me the map image. Unfortunately they also related that Pound Gap currently doesn't have a sponsor and unless that changes they will removing Pound Gap from their list of sites.

It may be the end of the month before they can let me know if they can get me a scan so if you happen along that way I would be grateful.
