You are right. The blade is slightly wavy pretty much the whole length, a little more pronounced at the last third. The texture is the same throughout...

Now try and figure out if there are two different metals along the blade, you may not want to clean it, but that may be the only way to determine. Most other ways of determining will involve harm to the piece, some say a magnet, but that is not definitive, as iron is in both metals.

I was "paged" by @Package4 for my humble opinion;
Having more than a few CSA made bayonets {altered and manufactured} I'd have to say this unfortunately shares no major characteristics and think it is a product of either Pakistan, Sutler-stan, or Afghanistan.
