Port Hudson parole list

If not too much trouble, I would be very grateful for a copy of the parole list.
Sorry, its in the mail to Stryker65. If you call Port Hudson State Historical Area, and ask for Dane, he can make and send you a pdf copy, or maybe a paper copy. Not cheap to mail. Lol. Its back and front 42 names on each side for almost 6,000 names. Maybe Stryker65 can help you some way.

In addition to Captain Isbell, a distant cousin, I had a twice-removed great-granduncle, Richard David Copass who died at Johnson's Island. Richard and his brothers, Montgomery, John, and Thomas were in the 60th Tennessee. Richard and John were captured at Big Black, on May 17, 1863. John died at Fort Deleware.
I'm going to head out to Ft. Delaware this summer. I'll get some photos while I'm there.

@bayouace did the rangers give any restrictions on sharing the records with others? I have received numerous requests for the records in my PMs.:D

Received it yesterday. Thanks @bayouace for all your help, and @bdtex as well!

There's a whopping 5,975 names in the pages; I'm trying to digitize it, to everybody interested.

All the officers captured were sent to the Customs House in New Orleans. and spent some time there before being sent north to prison. A lot of the enlisted men were sent to Enterprise Miss in a parole camp setup there.

@Stryker65
You can look through this list of CSA officer prisoners at Johnsons Island to find some from Port Hudson, none above the rank of Captain, so obviously incomplete.

Found an organization of the Parole Camp:

I have a whole research file on the camps in Enterprise as we located them about 12 years ago and found quite a few Louisiana buttons. I had some of them as well as some Louisiana buttons and CS relics I dug in Port Hudson at the Vicksburg show last week as I'm parting with some stuff.

Stryker-If not too much trouble, I would like to ask where you found this particular organization, and the date of same. I have found many others but not this one.
Its from the Official Records.
