I went there 3 times in 2017. Those pictures are on another device that I don't have access to today. I will post some of them tomorrow. 2 times I was there since then was with other attendees at the Baton Rouge Civil War Round Table symposiums. We were blessed to have private tours of parts of the battlefield that are now on private property... Devil's Elbow, Priest Cap, Hospital Ravine, Surrender Tree et.al.Is anyone attending any event at Port Hudson State Park? I need color images of the place.

Any more images?
I can post a bunch of those for you tomorrow.Thank you. Please keep posting images. Here's my "ideal" (wishful) shopping list of images.
1) views of the ravine around Fort Desperate and from Fort Desperate looking down into the ravines (both east & west)
2) views of the Alabama/Arkansas Redoubt looking up from the trail to the redoubt and from the redoubt down to the ravine the Yankees tried to storm?
3) Views of the Priest Cap area
4) Slaughter's Field from both Union and Confederate side?
5) Commissiary hill look down the ravine (and the slaughter pen)
6) If possible, views from artillery ridge towards Fort Desperate, Arkansas Redoubt and Bennett's Redoubt
7) Mississippi Redoubt looking down the ravines and towards Sandy Creek
8) Interior shots of the dioramas inside the museum?
9) Entrance of the Museum/Park Building
10) The artillery at the entrance and the entrance (need the sign)
11) The memorial monument
12) Entrance to the National Landing
13) Plains Store Crossroad (both from Baton Rouge and intersection with the Bayou Sara Road.
14) Witness buildings
15) The bullet and tobacco case
16) If the towers are opened, views from them (but I'll need your description of what we're looking at)
Can you describe each photo? Some of them appear from the inside looking outward. Was this the left or right part of the "W" (or "M") depending on what angle? The Confederates planted abatis inside the interior of each part of the W (or M) and built a dirt wall behind it as a secondary defense. The Priest Cap is on private property. These are all the pictures I got in November 2021:
