Original Zouave Help for Lockplate mark

Hallo!
Another pieces from my collection, it's a Zouave 7 groove barrell, but the lockplate it's different from the ones I've always seen (in Italy); they are usually marked this way:

"REMINGTON'S <over> "ILION N.Y." To the left is an eagle symbol <over> "U.S."

My lockplate it's correct?
I was wondering if someone could identify, Thanks!

Most of the Zouave's Ive seen had a barrel mark as the one below. What you may have is a Remington sub-contract musket. The BH is for Benjamin Hannis, who inspected many different weapons for the US.
