Another tasty dessert was Orange Pudding.

"Peel, seed and cut in small pieces four good sized oranges, add a cupful white sugar, and let it stand a while. Into a quart of nearly boiling milk, stir two tablesponfuls of corn starch mixed with a little water. and the yolks of three eggs beaten light. When cooked to the consistency of thick custard, put away to cool, after which mix with the orange and sugar; make a frosting of the four whites of eggs and powdered sugar. Cook the pudding in pastry. When done, spread on the meringue, and brown slightly."

Sounds good to me! Thanks for posting!
I'm no cook (my specialty is eating) but it sounds a lot like lemon meringue pie....
