Dear Comrades,

This musket has been in my family for a long time and I need help in identifying it. It is a smoothbore weapon with our surname 'Saint' crudely stamped on the buttstock plate. It is also percussion cap and can still function but the stock is broken and cracked and in dire need of cleaning and repair and is NOT for sale, but I certainly could use any help. Thank you.

It is one of the many imported during the war by both sides. I'm not much on ID'ing imports but it is definetelly not North American. Maybe Austrian, or Belgian of some kind.
