Every now and then looking at period and preceding period guns you come across one that's design, workmanship and ingenuity leaves you just......WOW.

This is one such example to me.

A double barrel volley gun! In this case a double barrel Nock gun. Used in the British Royal Navy from 1780 to 1804, and more recently in Hollywood movies. The recoil proved too much so they never reall caught on.
