New Website

Is there a way to pause the scrolling of the sword photos? The photos scroll by so fast I cannot get a good look at the them. After a minute or so of trying to get a good look at individual photos I became frustrated and left the site. I won't spend time here if I cannot scrutinize each photo for as long as I want.

Humm, I'm not sure then. I have it open in chrome. Anyone else having that problem?

When I try to bring the website up using Chrome, it puts a red slash through the "https:": in my address bar and then gives me the following message:

I'm still using windows XP on this computer and I noticed when I view a youtube video through Chrome, the sound is scratchy and the video jerks and runs real slow. When I switch over to IE8 all the videos work fine. I can't figure it out and I've rechecked my settings to make sure something isn't disabled that shouldn't be.

Yes. Thank you for the feedback! I have adjusted the slides so that one manually scrolls through them at your leisure.

Thank you for this. It appears having made the website on a wide screen computer so the site does not conform to the squarer monitors. The code you show looks fascinating, but it is Russian to me. I shall talk to the people at godaddy and see what they say. Perhaps I can pay someone there to format it so it works on all screens.

Thank you everyone for your input. I shall continue tweeking the site. Please come and visit from time to time as the site will evolve.
I'm on a 4x3 monitor at work so now I see what you mean by it not being formatted for square monitors. The width of the site is just a tad too big and it causes a lot of things to go wonky on smaller monitors.

Other sites work fine with Chrome. My date and time are correct. I switched over to my IE 8 browser and the website comes up.

Could be an add-in isn't accessible with Chrome.

Looking at that screen print above, I'd say that's what the issue is.

There may be an option to change in Chrome. I don't use it anymore, but I had what I think are similar issues. Someone with Chrome might be nice and check for you.

Try typing in the website address as opposed to copy and paste. Also, you could clear cache, and reset Chrome (how to in Chrome help). Or use a real browser. Haha

Done it all. Still get the same message. What's puzzling is that this is the only website I've had a problem accessing while no one else has had a problem. Oh well, I'll figure it out eventually.

Web site compatibility issues is one of the reason I dumped Chrome.

Come into the light: IE is right there. Go ahead, click it. So pretty.
