"…the spoon feeding stops soon." is an interesting comment. I don't know "jr baker", nor his abilities or limitations when it comes to research. But, what I do know is that we are deep into a generation that knows nothing other than "instant gratification." Some years ago I identified this as "Instant Gratification Syndrome", or IGS for those hooked on TLA's, if you will. It's a new world out there today, and much different from the one I grew up in shortly after WW2. We used libraries and actually read books cover to cover. The IGS generation today has been given everything whenever they wanted it with little or no effort expended on their part. Shame on their parents! Things obtained without personal effort have no appreciation or value attached to them. It very quickly becomes a way of life. If you have read my posts you have probably figured out that I am an arms enthusiast. I began collecting reference books on arms when I was about 10 years old because I wanted to learn about them. It was a humble beginning to what has become a very extensive arms library. I don't mind sharing knowledge, but I'm afraid I must agree with you when it comes to those who want you to do it for them.

All of this is a sad commentary on the future.
