The figures are 20 MM K&L (those old enough to remember, formerly Thomas figures that you could get from Polk's Hobby Shop in Gettysburg).

I played around with a couple of photos to make them seem more "period."

Great photos. By the way I am just getting started with miniatures and would like recommendations for 1/32 scale cannons. Where is a good place to shop. I would like to build a collection of all cannons used by both sides. My miniature figures are 1/32 so I would like the cannons to match. Thanks

I had a bunch of these guys, mostly drummers, color sergeants, officers and mounted officers. They mixed well with Airfix plastic figs for the rank and file. I think there are a few still hidden in boxes and bags in my stuff!

Dave,
Let me do a little research and I'll get back to you.
Are you looking for painted or unpainted figures?

Just off the top of my head there's a company called Michigan Toy Soldiers that sells both painted and unpainted figures. Google that name and you'll find their website.

For higher end cannon check out Britain's . They are very well done and are pre-painted but go for around $40 each . Sierra Toy Soldiers carries them .

I am not too much into miniatures, but I do like the desaturated color in some of these photos. It's a very nice effect.

I would need painted. My hands are to shakey for painting anything small.

Sorry for my delay in responding.
I checked with a contact of mine. His response is below:

"There are the Imex and Britains figures. I doubt if anyone makes all the barrels he's looking for.

Michigan Toy soldier and the Toy soldier company and eBay might be worth looking into."

Regards.
