"That will be my story and I am sticking to it."Someday we'll see one of these black and white photos on Pinterest with the caption, "Rare Civil War photo of confederate gun crew in action!"
Great photos. By the way I am just getting started with miniatures and would like recommendations for 1/32 scale cannons. Where is a good place to shop. I would like to build a collection of all cannons used by both sides. My miniature figures are 1/32 so I would like the cannons to match. ThanksThe figures are 20 MM K&L (those old enough to remember, formerly Thomas figures that you could get from Polk's Hobby Shop in Gettysburg).
I played around with a couple of photos to make them seem more "period."

I would need painted. My hands are to shakey for painting anything small.Dave,
Let me do a little research and I'll get back to you.
Are you looking for painted or unpainted figures?
Just off the top of my head there's a company called Michigan Toy Soldiers that sells both painted and unpainted figures. Google that name and you'll find their website.
