I am pleased and proud to announce that my new title, Five or Ten Minutes of Blind Confusion: The Battle of Aiken, South Carolina, February 11, 1865, is now available for purchase on Amazon. I haven't gotten my copies yet, but should have them soon. It's been published in both hardcover and softcover editions, and is the first detailed tactical study of the only Confederate victory during Sherman's Carolinas Campaign of 1865. It's available here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1945602074/?tag=civilwartalkc-20. I should have copies for sale in a week or so if anyone is interested in a signed copy.

I always hasten to read your "shameless self-promotion"! It always leads to another interesting book!

There's another one coming in a few weeks. My Chickamauga study, which has been in the hands of the publisher since June 2016, is finally in final production. It's going to seem like two at once--which it is in terms of release--but I did the bulk of the work on the Chickamauga project in 2015 and early 2016, and it's been sitting there gathering dust ever since. I'm waiting to receive the page galleys on that one in order to do my final proofread.

Congratulations! I saw your talk on the Battle at Trevilian Station via C-Span and enjoyed it very much. And I have Plenty of Blame to go Around on my Amazon wish list. :) Haven't yet gotten to Gettysburg in my studies though :whistling:; still hanging just after Chancellorsville timewise. But that'll change come September when my first Gettysburg book arrives.

Thank you for the kind words--I hope you enjoy the books. There are several other of my talks available on CSPAN if you do a search for them. Perhaps you will enjoy those as much.

Thanks, Ryan. I appreciate it. I placed all maps and images last week, so am now waiting for the page galleys. I leave for my trip to the Rosebud and the Little Big Horn a week from today, and I've told Ted Savas that if he wants me to get through them before I go, he's got to get them to me, or otherwise it will have to wait until I get back from Montana.

Sounds as though amazon's release date for the Chickamauga book (currently Oct. 3, but I swear the last time I looked it was mid-September) might be a bit optimistic?
