Since this has not started yet here is one form Gettysburg. For some reason I don't have a lot of monument photos.

I'm finding the plaque a bit hard to read @ARW . Think you could just fill us in on who this is? I noticed you mentioned it's at Gettysburg. Thanks.

Gen Samuel Wylie Crawford commander of PA Reserves, his division drove the Confederates out of 'Death Valley' beside Little Round Top, with Crawford dramatically seizing the colours and leading from the front.
 
Samuel Crawford. Was he a better doctor than a Major General leading a division at Gettysburg?

He was OK at Gettysburg as it was almost over when he got there. It was at Five Forks where he got lost, causing General Warren to be fired by Sheridan.
