Got to meet the highest ranking officer ever in my 20 plus years in the Army on a train ride in New Freedom Pa.

Awesome! Last week I was sitting under an old oak tree having morning coffee with my wife on the banks of the Ashley River just outside Charleston. We were staying on the Middleton Plantation grounds for a few days when out of the woods walks a full dress colonial militiaman in full regalia musket and all he marches up a trail right beside me and disappears back into the woods? It took me by surprise and I never thought to grab my phone and take a pic all I could say was, Did you see and British? He said no but he was still looking.

I think that anyone with a picture of General Lee should post it here, now that we have been given an excellent picture to begin with.

I had the pleasure of meeting General Lee during a visit to the Piedmont Hotel in Gainesville, GA. This hotel was owned by his "Old Warhorse," General Longstreet.
