Nice artillery display if one was not too busy looking at muskets and swords to bother going out side to watch the display.

Could someone explain to me about the difference between the cast iron cannon and the parrott? next to it? He said something about the first cannon being able to take a beating but the second one (parrott) with the "big bottom" blowing up. I don't know anything really about artillery (or muskets, etc) to understand/follow what he was saying.

Cast iron is not as tough as wrought iron. The main body of a Parrott is cast but the band in the back is wrought iron to handle the higher breech pressure. Ordnance rifles were all wrought iron and were more expensive.
