Manassas Tour.

VA Chapter of CivilWarTalk,
This is an absolutely fantastic idea!!! Truly taking a great forum one step further by joining with other members for a tour. A trip like this scheduled by the Pennsylvania group of members near Gettysburg would be splendid.
HINT! HINT!
A picnic lunch on the battlefield while discussing the history with forum friends...priceless! Anxious (and jealous) to see your report on your trip and some photos.

Been there; done that, MRB. In 2012, about 2o of us gathered there (including day trippers). The motel proprietor (Three Crowns) was kind enough to put all the overnighters in a row, so each evening the rooms would be emptied of chairs and the coolers would come out.

I see your join date was just last month, so you also missed the smaller one held last year.

Just checking in here. Looks like cold is holding to us this winter. I had some things to do and ended up waiting for warmer weather. This stuff is never ending. Still so much to see here in Virginia!! :frown:

I've still got the 7th booked for the tour, but if this cold holds I suppose we should try another day. Will wait until a couple of days before hand, of course. I'll start looking at my calendar now...

I really hope you guys can get this to come together. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate!
