Looking To Re- Enlist

Back in 1989 I was involved in the 8th Georgia Infantry in Rome GA. Fought in the battle of Atlanta and Jonesboro. Had to get out due to girlfriend issues. Now that I am living in Savannah GA, I am looking for units close to where I live. I am ready to Re-enlist, possibly a Cavalry Unit. I have been online looking and haven't had any luck....any advice? I miss reenacting. I miss the comradery, as well as the history.

How "crazy" do you want to get with your impression? Are you looking for a mainstream or Progressive unit? (Do you know what I'm even talking about?)

A lot has changed over the years with uniforms and equipage.

yes , i am familiar....mainstream would be great. The unit I was in was fairly strict about everything. Being correct in all aspects. I would like to be in a unit that was serious but not ridiculously so.
