Looking for good quality worsted wool hat cords

So I've read somewhere not long ago that the hat cords I need for a specific impression were made from worsted wool, but the few reproduction hat cords I know of are made from silk. I don't need to buy them right now, but would anyone know where I can get some high quality yellow worsted wool hat cords?

The impression is the 1st Michigan Engineers and Mechanics when they were using their state issued uniforms, and I'll keep Avery Miller in mind.

S&S Sutler in Gettysburg might have some. I have a correctly made infantry one from them.
