LeVaux DA revolver

Hi All,
Does anyone know if Belgium made
LeVaux revolvers were used by the Union and/ or Confederate forces?
One I have seen has an 1863 date along with elaborate scroll work, military style lanyard, ebony grips with what appears to be carved tobacco leaves. Thanks!

Yes found this site and emailed author Alain D. regarding his books on Liege Gun Makers. The specific gun in question has scrolled 1863 date on the frame. We' ll see what I can dig up. Thanks again.
