That's a well used, nice looking Springfield.My model 1861 Springfield musket, dated 1862. Not shootable, the bore looks like a rusty pipe and it only holds on full cock. But it's a nice wall hanger. I also carried it in the NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade while representing the Fighting 69th New York Infantry.
