Thought bring this old thread on Mock Apple Pie. I am going to have to see if can find recipe for one made with pumpkin.

I found the recipe from Little House on prairie book. It is in "The Little House Cookbook" by Barbara Walker. It is recipes of frontier foods by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I think I like to have that book.
