Don't think I've posted this one of Dahlgren yet, couldn't find a better occasion to do it

Also I've added a ton of new photographs to my Redbubble (Printing site) if you'd like to take a peek.

I've got a ton of images I can safely showcase (Contractually obligated not to share) in a few weeks time, so there'll be regular posting soon for at least a few months.

To my thinking, John Dahlgren and John Mercer Brooke were the two geniuses of the Civil War in the field of naval guns and ordnance.

I really like this! It looks different than your other colorized photos; no scratches or marks. Did you clean it up? Looking forward to your new stuff.

I did yeah, at least I think it was me - might've been the person who helped me with it, but I honestly can't remember, it's been 2 years by now.

I like this look, but I still prefer that old scratched up feel, can't shake it man.

Thanks for posting this. I was at the Dahlgren Chapel last year, which his wife built in his memory. It is just past the Washington Monument at South Mountain, near the Fox and Crampton Gaps for that battle. Although it was not open, it is a lovely site and building and a wonderful memorial to Dahlgren.
