You can compare features of known photos or you can go as extreme as lining them up like they did. I've done it before and at its basic form it easy to eliminate matches. I'm no where near as skilled but it's not actually all that hard and kind of fun to do.

Based on the one visible ear, I would say no.

Thanks for the responses. Someone told me that it was Jesse James, and when I looked at other pictures of him, they looked very similar.

I am going to say no. I see a number of similarities, but the one thing missing in the photo above is the receding hairline.

They are in charge of the Jesse James house, where James was shot and killed. The guys out there are pretty knowledgable -- they'd have to be -- folks get a little fanatical about James out in these parts.
