I'm new to this and believe this may be a replica that has been weathered but I'm not sure. Let me know toy opinion please. TIA

S-prefix serial number looks suspiciously Armi-Sport M1861-ish.
Don't think the originals had serial numbers.
What's the top of the barrel look like, about an inch or two in front of the rear sight?

And although the angle of the photos is not ideal to make an absolute determination, I am going to wager a guess that the manufacturer of this reproduction is "Euroarms." The lockplate appears to be beveled (the Armi Sport is flush) and the clean-out screw is flush with the bolster. This is characteristic of the Euroarms reproduction US 1861.

Euroarms sold their US 1861 tooling to Pedersoli, so if you like the looks of this particular reproduction it should not be hard to find one a lot like it.
