Impressions Impression for Gettysburg this weekend

Heading to Gettysburg bright and early tomorrow! Here's my impression for the event. I have a Type II packed that I plan to change into depending on what the scenarios call for. This is my first time trying to put together an authentic kit for an event, and I am super excited. I could definitely improve on a few things, eg. my rubber blanket and shelter half (inside of the roll). Kind of sacrificing authenticity for comfort, but I'd rather not get soaked in my sleep.

It's nice to see you chose a forked tongue buckle to wear.

Looks good, one piece of advice though, keep your gum blanket where you can access it easy. Fold it over your haversack, waistbelt, or just slide in your pack. Looks like we're all going to need it at times this weekend.

Nice kit! I thought about coming in uniform, but since I'm not fighting, I'd rather be comfortable while I hide in the car and watch you all get rained on. lol
