Well hey guys :) and a Merry Christmas to you!!

I've got a Remington New Model Army .44 percussion (well an Uberti copy) revolver here, and I'd like to get an authentic and period correct U.S. military holster and belt for it. Also wanting either a pistol or carbine cartridge box to carry shooting supplies in.

In short, who out there makes the BEST, most authentic, most durable, period correct Civil War gun leather? Money is no object, I want a durable and good a quality rig as possible that fits the time period as close as possible.

Thanks gang!!

If you had to pick between them, which one would you choose?
Missouri Boot would be my first choice from personal experience, I've bought an accoutrement set and a pair of shoes from them that are outstanding and talking with them a couple times on the phone they were super nice and genuinely interested in my impression and the events I attend and made some good recommendations on what to buy. I've never dealt personally with LD Hanning but have seen their products and are first class as well. Another one I've bought a few things from over the years and are very nice as well and make good products is Dell's Leather.

Well!!!!!! Since money is no object, I'll be happy to sell to you my Remington holster that's been in the family since the end of the CW, when Gen. Sherman gave it to my gggggggggg grandfather. I'll even throw in the hand written letter that Gen. Grant wrote Sheman when he gave the holster to Sherman as a Christmas present in 1864.

I'd rather not discuss the crass details of money and wire transfer online, so just send me a p.m., ok?

Meanwhile, Merry Christmas to you and yours.
