Help Identifying Sword.. Part 2

As I mentioned on my earlier thread, here is the 2nd, probably more worn and more unidentifiable sword. It also has a few unusual markings on the guard and the pomel . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the same model 1860 cavalry sword as the other one. Unfortunately the year stamp and the maker's mark have been worn to identify it any further. However, if I were to guess the manufacturer, I would guess Ames, because their mark was the lightest and easily rubbed off:

I think that someone named W. Watt owned that at some time and scratched his name on it with something like a knife :)
Might be interesting to see whether someone with that name enlisted in Union Cavarly during the ACW or the Indian Wars
The others are production/inspection stamps.
 
If the name is W Watt, there are only three that I can find on the Union side and twelve on the Southern side. Union troopers:

William Watt
Residence Boone County IN;
Enlisted on 2/20/1864 as a Private.
On 2/20/1864 he mustered into "F" Co. IN 9th Cavalry
He was Mustered Out on 8/28/1865 at Vicksburg, MS

Residence was not listed;
Enlisted on 2/7/1864 as a Private.

He was Mustered Out on 7/20/1865 at Winchester, VA
Other Information:
born in 1835 in Plum Twp, Venango Co, PA
(Wife: Emaline Beagler)
After the War he lived in Sheffield, PA

Residence was not listed; 19 years old.
Enlisted on 2/24/1864 as a Private.
On 2/24/1864 he mustered into "F" Co. OH 4th Cavalry
He was Mustered Out on 5/30/1865 at Cleveland, OH
