This is a LeFaucheux pinfire revolver> Is there any way to see who had it issued?

It looks to be the Model 1854 with the ejector missing. Unless the serial number was recorded in a report or diary there would be little hope in connecting it to individual.

Just for giggles, you might want to find an appropriate screwdriver and take the grips off on the outside chance something's written on them in pencil.

This revolver is a belgium under licence made M1854 model ... and the number has nothing to do with the series of the Civil War

I read 34859... and was made in Liège Belgium around 1859.
