Help finding the 86th Indiana regiment's flag

My ancestor was a private in the 86th Indiana and tracking down the regimental flag has not been easy. Short of paying the state of Indiana for a picture of a flag they claim to have (and that is certainly what I'll do as a last resort), I didn't know if there are any "go-to" guides for Union regimental flags. Any books or websites that have proven particularly useful for someone in a similar situation? Or general tips for tracking down regimental colors?
Thanks so much!

Update: I have been in contact with a very kind woman who works at the Indiana War Memorial and have gotten my hands on two photographs of the 86th flags (one regimental the other national). I will post them below. Anyone wanting more information (or with information to share!) about these flags and/or the 86th in general please do contact me!

Also, I just realized I can post PDF's here. Almost all the information I have regarding the 86th colors is in the attached document. Nearly all of it is a reproduction of the information presented in The Eighty-Sixth Regiment, Indiana Volunteer Infantry: A Narrative of Its Services in the Civil War of 1861-1865 (properly cited in the PDF itself).
I will post it here in the event that someone else might in the future come across this thread and profit from it!

The people at the War Memorial have always been very kind and helpful to me. They were in around 2000 duplicating their existing colors so the colors could again be displayed. An artist by the name of Russell Bridgeman was commissioned to produce them. He was able to do a number prior to his untimely death. He was also 1Sgt in my re enacting unit, Co. A, 33rd Virginia out of Indianapolis.

He was an incredible guy and sorely missed.
