Hashed Brown Potatoes have always been a favorite for my family. This recipe is my Granny's. So tasty and loved by many.

Hashed Brown Potatoes

Sprinkle two and one half cups of cold broiled potato cubes with salt and white pepper. Melt one and half teaspoons of butter, add one tablespoon of flour and one half cup brown stock. Cook for five minutes; add potato cubes; cook 10 minutes, stirring, without breaking the potatoes. Melt one tablespoon of butter in another frying pan. When brown, turn in potatoes, spread evenly, and cook 10 minutes; fold like an omelet, then serve hot.

Love Hash Browns! During the final fry stage, try adding a chopped onion. Hash Browns are real comfort food!
