Hamming It Up on Hunchback

During the latter part of the war, a series of images were taken on a U.S. gunboat, often identified as U.S.S. Hunchback, particularly centered on a Dahlgren Boat Howizter in the upper deck. See examples here, here and here.

So here's yet another, from the Flickr stream of the Navy's photographic curator:

FWIW, the man on the right appears in many of these photos, in several uniform changes. The man on the left may be the same as in the second linked photo, above.
