I ran across this article in a Charleston newspaper a few years ago and thought it would be fun to share it. My research and Civil War interests are heavily concentrated on the David-class torpedo boats. Two ghost hunters visited Stony Landing, where David was constructed. Although the pair claim they made discoveries about Dr. St. Julian Ravenel, owner of Stony Plantation during the ACW, apparently his ghost did not admit to them that he didn't, in fact, design David. Maybe a re-visit to the other side is in order :smile:
