Gettysburg electric map update with pics

I have to see this map again. The concept of this map is so simple but ever so effective. I have been a frequent visitor to Gettysburg since 1977. Despite all those trips I made a point to see the electric map presentation on every allowable opportunity ( when the weather report was wrong).

The map and that one single display of two minie balls that collided in mid flight always amazed me. I knew what happened to the map, but I don't know where those 2 Minie balls are at today.

I visited Hanover years ago and I don't recall much about that visit. I have just retired and I plan to visit other Gettysburg campaign sites including Hanover. I have to research Hanover to see what Civil War sites I can see. If anyone has any recommendations on Hanover sights, please feel free to chime in.

I note that the home page of the Hanover Heritage and Conference Center's website (http://www.hanoverhcc.com/ ) contains a somewhat outdated message indicating that the Electric Map would be closed for the holidays and asking people to check back in January for the 2017 schedule.

Since the holiday season is long over, I hope that the Electric Map has resumed operations, but I can't say for sure that such is the case.

I wasn't able to get the link to work but I note the date on it and the original post is a year old. The last I heard, the man who wants to open the map up for public viewing has not been able to address certain access issues in the place he wants to show it. I have heard (but don't know if it's accurate) that part of the problem is that it is up 30 steps with no other access. So, last I heard, it is not open for viewing.

Their facebook page says as of 2/10/17 the Borough is requiring them to add a new sprinkler system and elevator so the map is closed. No updates since then.
