I don't remember how much it cost when I bought it 4 years ago, but it's had a place on my shelf ever since.

I do own Petruzzi and Stanley's book as well. Par for the course for Gettysburg nerds, really.

$30ish if you shop at the internets. Can find a copy for $10 or so here or there in second hand stores. Not that bad compared to some other books. Really.

JavaScript, using the EaselJS library for graphics.
Here's the current version of the maps.
It's not open source, although I do think about going that way.
