Thank you for reading my post - I'm wondering if anyone can help me ID these gauntlets (pics attached). Are they CW or post-war / Indian war era, in your opinion? I realize that there were plenty of gloves that had the expanded cuff during the CW, such as used by the cavalry. But, the red color on the inside cuff is what puzzles me....

As you are aware officer's kits were purchased and not issued, so there were a plethora of options. Most reenactment gauntlets are post war design, but it is very difficult to tell.
