Garlic Cheese Oven Baked Tomatoes

These Garlic Cheese Oven Baked Tomatoes are a healthy snack option and very simple to prepare! Hope you'll give them a try!


Ingredients:

1 large tomato sliced into about 4-6 slices

2 tablespoons olive oil

1-2 teaspoon minced garlic depending on your taste

1 teaspoon dry Italian herbs

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Chopped parsley for garnish

I just went out and got me a tomato plant! Ifin I don't kill it, this one will be a great one to try!

My grandmother had a green thumb and made a habit of placing egg shells and coffee grounds around all of her plants. None of hers ever died. I googled this the other day for tomato plants, because my son, Greg, planted a few last week. Evidently, the egg shell/coffee ground mixture is an excellent fertilizer for tomato plants. Worth giving it a try...
