Fort Pickens

I have decided to finally post up some pictures from my ACW travels, starting with Fort Pickens. I visited the Fort back when I lived near Pensacola in 2011. The northwest bastion is completely gone due to 8,000 lbs of powder igniting in June 1899. It's still a really interesting place to visit. Enjoy the pictures, I apologize if there's too many!

And last, but not least, me in front of a 15" Rodman...

Thanks for looking!

Rebecca,

There can NEVER be "too many pictures!"

Post 'em, Airman, and that's an order!
