Restricted Fort Bisland Help Needed

I live right near Fort Bisland but I'm having trouble finding the exact places that I should be metal detecting. I'm looking for campsites, battlegrounds, etc. I have permission for one area but I'm not sure if it was there during the Civil War period. The Wax Lake Outlet was made in the 40's and it makes for a hard grasp of what was once there. Any help is greatly appreciated.
