He uses the Confederate Relic Room in South Carolina as his provenance, saying he took it there to be looked at. I've contacted the Confederate Relic Room twice and alerted them to this. I've received replies from them denying his claims and stating he's a scammer. I think they need to get involved and have him blocked. Him, and frauds like him, affect all of us who buy, sell, collect and dig legitimate ACW relics.

So, I saw that. I have a hunch on that. He currently has a positive feedback on that exact Sword when it sold for $670. I'm going to posit a couple of options. Option 1, he has multiples of that same sword. I'm not putting a lot of faith in that, but if it's a costume piece---maybe. Option 2, buyer slow payed and possibly questioned the provenance of the sword, so he re-listed it and schill bid it to $1500 to play the "how much someone else is willing to pay" card. Once the reprobate psycho gets his mark to elicit the, "whoa, whoa, whoa, I'll take it at $670, if you pull the the re-listing" his ploy is made. At that point the horrible creature says something like, "OK I'll pull the listing and honor the original deal, but at least leave me a good feedback for all of the trouble you caused me with the extra listing fees et. al. and my father left me totally destitute because etc." BINGO, jerkas gets $670 for a twenty dollar "sword" he bought in a souvenir shop in Pigeon Forge TN. He only needs one mark. That mark wouldn't be me, because I don't deal in that stuff. That mark probably isn't a member on this site because we'd always ask the question and those that really know the item would chime in. In all likelihood that mark is someone who is looking for that special gift for their civil war collecting father or grandfather as a surprise for Fathers day, birthday, etc.
