Ebay Scammer Update

So here's something really funny! I just sold a group of ACW buttons and bridle rosettes on Ebay to SecondhandCollectibles!! Everything but a pair of "CS" marked rosettes were authentic and I made it clear in the description that the rosettes were most likely reproductions. I GUARANTEE he lists them as authentic Confederate pieces!!!

Ok, go take a look at what eBay seller chyea73 has at auction. Highlights include a clipped corner militia buckle with signature and unit engraved on the back (Confederate 6th Reg of Arkansas Volunteers) for $6,750.00 starting bid. "LITTLE BIG HORN SGT. HANLEY MEDAL OF HONOR ENTRENCHING TOOL," for $2,795.00 starting bid. "CIVIL WAR NORTH CAROLINA CONFEDERATE FLAG. 12th of the 13 STATES TO JOIN," for $27,500.00. "AMAZING ORIGINAL AUTHENTICATED 1870S-1881 BILLY THE KID TINTYPE Photo," for starting bid $727,130.00. "Pine Ridge Agency Indian Knife. Bureau Indian affairs," for buy it now price $3,575.00. "McElroy Lieut F.W JOHNSON Of The Lamar Infantry Sword. McElroy confederate," for $35,595.00 starting bid. "TEXAS CSA MAIN & WINCHESTER CIVIL WAR POMMEL HOLSTERS. 1860/COLTs," with buy it now price of $9,550.00. I think we've discussed this one before. I didn't mention everything or some of the worst items like the 1880's deputy Marshal badge for the Oregon Territory with the post 1920 cheap costume jewelry pin soldered to the back. I guess it's "go big or go home!"

Now, a question I have is, has this seller, chyea73, set up a decoy auction site with outrageous prices so he can post the same thing for much less on another site and trick people into thinking they've spotted a sleeper and grab it before reason sets in, or drop something to a lower outrageous price so someone will buy it before someone else snags it for the, "discount," price?
