Recent Find Early percussion breechloader

First model Joslyn breechloading carbine. Used a paper cartridge fired by a percussion cap.

The ring was pushed forward and the breech block pivots upward.

The paper cartridge was inserted into the chamber.

No inspectors markings in the stock.

Assembly markings.
