I was at a friends of the library book room today and could not help but purchase a couple of inexpensive books that I probably don't need. So has anyone read Devil's Den a History and Guide by Garry E. Adelmen & Timothy H. Smith? It looks more interesting than the other books I could not help purchasing. However, I am not sure just how much detail I need on Devil's Den.

Although used, the book is in very good condition and signed by both authors, so in the end it was worth the 1$ the book cost me. It sadly may go on my "might read some day" shelf. My book shelves are getting full and I need to stop going with my wife when she visits friends of the library book shops or sit in the parking lot and not go in to the library with her.

Major Bill, I thing I have the same disease as you. Buying books for a buck then finding room on a shelf to be read at a later time. There must be a name for this disease. Any info would be helpful that I could give to my wife would be appreciated so she would understand my problem.

Well I spent the day having breakfast, lunch, and dinner with my wife in Kalamazoo while she shopped the entire day. Two hours in one fabric store. So the one dollar was not the "entire" cost of the book.

I bought the same book at Gettysburg some 20 years ago for $19.95 . It is also signed . You got a great deal and you can never have too many books .

Last month, I had my copy signed by the authors as you can see Garry with the book. I haven't read it, yet, but I will! I have great respect for the authors.
