I think the oldest guys look too young to be veterans if this is from around 1900.

An 18 year old at least 37 years later is a 55 year old veteran. Those men don't appear to be that old.

The man in front with the pocket watch and chain on his person...he looks like
this is all a big deal to him. Perhaps his father fought here? We will never know.
