One of my favorite spots on the field!!! One time I actually apologized out loud to the soldier on behalf of the photographer for the disrespect he was shown in death....It still kinda angers me to look at that photo. Great pic @Hercules949697 , thank you for sharing!!

This has probably been discussed several times but I've never seen it here: The stacked wall now is obviously not the same as the stacked wall then. What's the theory on this? Souvenir hunters carrying off rocks every decade or so?

Your question reminds me of the time my son, who was a high school senior, saw some guy trying to steal a brick from Fort Sumter.

He was a very mild mannered, even shy kid, but he lit into this guy until he put it back. Really read him the riot act.

Apparently I did do something right somewhere along the way.
