Tell me more! CW era straight razor

I've quickly found that there's an expert in virtually everything on this form and again I'd like to ask for some guidance. I recently acquired a straight razor that is marked "manufactured by Frederick Reynolds Sheffield" and has an engraving of George Washington with the words "Washington the champion of liberty." My research has unearthed a lot of of contrary information as to the timeframe of this piece. I've seen everything from pre-Civil War, to Civil War era to post civil war. I was wondering if anybody had any information on this. Thank you in advance.

Thanks a lot for all your research! For everything that I looked at online I missed these two pieces of evidence. I kind of figured it was post war but I was hoping for the best.
