Impressions CSA Mess Plates

One of the two CSA mess plates we bought from our dearly departed Colonel.
 
Had two pagan GG grandfathers who may have eaten off them :CSA1stNat:
I had one who was on the other side but only lasted less than a year.

May well have been…the Colonel (who could kill with a look) was a Richmond, Virginia native. He looked the part. One tough smoking rooster. His bellows served the battalion batteries well. We did not get a story with the plates but he told us they had been used.
