a long time ago I bought a Colt .36 5 shot percussion 63 revolver. fluted cylinder
serial number is long gone.
The backstrap was engraved..
Cpt (james) Brown 33rd MASS Vol. first name may not be right.
I bought it in Providence RI and found his whole life story in the Prov Library private archives.
I have the information, by memory, so if you have the gun....let me know. I have some good
provenance for you...
