Are there any surviving csa navy flat hats? If so can y'all send pictures

The Naval museum in Columbus, Georgia has a Confederate Navy cap on display but I can not remember if the signage says it was original or a reproduction. Perhaps some other forum member will know.

One of our forum members has published this book about Confederate Navy uniforms.

Although the text is in Italian there are enough English translations to make this a great book about Confederate naval uniforms. There are over 60 uniforms shown in color plates. You can also 'private message' the author with any questions. Get back with me if you do not understand the private message part of the forum.

I am sure he will be very helpful and tell you how you can purchase his book. He is very kind and I am sure he will be glad to hear from you. His English is good. He has updated one of the uniform plates in the book and will probably email you the new uniform image. I was very pleased with his book.
